The IVE's Constitutions and Directory of Spirituality articulates, better than anything else, the charism, spirituality, and even the governance of the Institute of the Incarnate Word and the Institute of the Servants of the Lord and the Virgin of Matará.* The document itself is sizeable, and can be viewed/downloaded in PDF format by clicking on the icon below.

*Technically, the two branches of the Religious Family of the Incarnate Word (that is, the IVE and the SSVM) have separate constitutions, as required by canon law, yet that of the SSVM is nearly identical to that of the IVE, and the SSVM Constitutions only have those changes made that are necessary when speaking of a congregation of sisters as opposed to priests  (i.e., mutatis mutandis).
