First Masses - 2012

06.10.12 – Two days ago, three priests were ordained to serve in the Institute of the Incarnate Word. By today, all three ordinands have celebrated their very first, of a lifetime of, Masses.

On June 9^th, Fr. Octavio Cortez, joined by his relatives, offered the Holy Sacrifice. His family presented him with a beautifully ornamented chalice, which he blessed in the course of the Mass.

On the morning of June 10^th, Fr. Juan Pablo Dominguez remembered Our Crucified Lord, accompanied as well by his family, who presented him with an ordination chalice.

Finally, that evening, Fr. Felix Fuentes culminated over two decades of preparation in religious life in his first Mass. To all three ordinands, we wish to extend our fullest congratulations and beg Our Lord and Lady that these men may be holy priests, faithful priests, and devoted priests, celebrating each Mass as if it were their first Mass, their last Mass – their only Mass.
