Walk for Life West Coast

The Front end of the Walk on the Embarcadero

Fr. Jean Marie Baudry with the St Leo the Great Adult Youth Group participated in the 7th Annual Walk for Life in San Francisco on January 22.

Several parishioners and catechists were also part of the event in which more than 50,000 people took part.

Before the Walk began there was a rally in Justin Herman Plaza where many pro-life speakers gave moving testimonies and inspiring discourses. The Walk itself went along the Embarcadero, through Fisherman’s Wharf, and ended at the Marina Green overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge.

We thank God “who formed (us) in the womb” (Is 44:24) for the continued growth of the Walk for Life West Coast which allows so many people to give testimony to the sanctity of life and the dignity of every person from the moment of conception.

“From the moment I formed you in the womb I knew you” Jer 1:5
