Christmas Concert at St. John Baptist de la Salle Church

On December 11, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. a concert was performed by the Brass Ensemble from the University of Maryland at St. John Baptist de la Sallle Church in Chillum, Maryland. The quintet featured musicians Brandon Almagro, trumpet; Neal Brown, trumpet; Mark Wakefield, horn; David Miller, trombone; and Dan Pendley, bass trombone.

The quintet performed the concert as part of First Vespers on the eve of the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The repertoire included works composed by Giovanni Gabrieli, Victor Ewald, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Peter I. Tchaikovsky.  The complete concert program for the evening is listed below.

Immediately after the concert there was a reception in the Church hall for those in attendance.
